PWD: Activities of the Roads Division for the Week of November 25, 2024

Date:

Despite the temporary closure of the asphalt plant resulting in reduced road-paving activities, the Public Works Department (PWD) has successfully redirected its crew to other essential tasks. During the week of November 25, 2024, the team cut bushes and cleared drains at various locations on the island while other team members continued to construct drains at New Horizons in Saddlers.

In Basseterre, some team members were dispatched to Carnival Village to grade specific areas with milled material in preparation for the upcoming festivities. Meanwhile, other staff engaged in routine maintenance activities at the Public Works Department.

We will provide additional details on the PWD’s activities as they become available.
