Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – As the St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) confronts the challenges presented by reduced rainfall and a higher demand for potable water than it can continuously meet, it has developed a campaign around water conservation geared towards helping consumers use water more mindfully.
The WSD developed nine water conservation tips in what would likely be the first iteration of a series of tips to populate the water.gov.kn and mopieudt.gov.kn websites and social media. The hope is that consumers will observe and share them to increase public sensitivity to water conservation efforts.
