WSD Gives Update on Water Service at Beacon Heights, Dewars, and Upper Shadwell West

Basseterre, Saint Kitts (Public Infrastructure News) – On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at approximately 11 a.m., officials of the Saint Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) provided an update on the service interruption impacting its customers at Beacon Heights, Dewars, and Upper Shadwell West.

In the early evening of Tuesday, May 5, 2026, the WSD announced the service interruption on its Facebook page, initially estimating restoration by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6. In an update on Wednesday, the team revised the estimate, with service now expected to return by 5 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

The WSD sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience caused and assures the public that its team is dedicating all necessary resources to complete the pump repairs as quickly as possible so service can be restored within the revised timeframe.
